This project aims to encourage children to create art – drawings, crafts, figures, or anything else they choose to make by their hands – to capture the essence of children’s perspectives in how they see their neighbourhood “of the future” and emphasize their active role in envisioning and influencing long-term decisions related to their neighbourhood.
Our ‘trial’ project starts in Amsterdam South-East, an area where the diversity among the population including children is well presented. And by running this project we aim to bring not only children but their families, friends, neighbours into one (community) place where we all share the same interests.
This is just one example how we aim to build stronger & more united community.
